  1. Yeah I guess Thanks alot for the answers!
  2. Yes they will, but do get into a little more detail. The xbox 360 scene has used the xtreme 3.0 rip format for quite some time, it does not use splitvid. These iso's are always of this size: 7,572,881,408 bytes. While the new splitvid format iso's are of one of these sizes: 7,835,492,352 or 7,834,892,288 bytes According to my calculations, the old xtreme 3.0 rips doesn't NEED padding since they can be divided by 16, while the new splitvid rips DOES need padding. This is my concern here. Of course nobody can tell whatever the padding difference will ever be an issue I'm just trying to understand what is the best to use. Or did I get this wrong? will the old format (7,572,881,408 bytes) also STILL be padded? Kristian
  3. Ok so then this burn is 100% correct. I'm concerned with having a 100% 1:1 disc as it is an xbox 360 disc (I'm sure you understand the reason). The thing I don't like here is that this "padding" must be readable by the drive together with the data, and that must mean that an image that is perfectly dividable by 16 which does not require padding is more 1:1 than an image that ISN'T dividiable with 16, thus requiring padding to be burned. Or am I wrong? An even harder question: is this padding only used on BURNED discs or is it used on pressed originals aswell? Thank you for your time!

  5. Hi ppl! I'm burning a dual layer disc for a xbox360 game. Everything went fine, but the reported disc size in verify mode (the report to the right) states a larger size than the iso file size. It's 2048 bytes larger. Why is this? Is it some form of padding or overhead etc or didn't I get a perfect disc? if it is some form of padding or overhead, is this something selectable or mandatory and needed? I'm looking for a perfect 1:1 disc due to obvious reasons Kristian
  6. Hi! I've always burnt discs with no problem at all, but I never burned any DL discs. Today I did so and just in the very end while closing the track an error pops up saying "Potential 'WaitImmediateIO' Deferred Error - (0/2) - Power Calibration Area Error" I choose retry while loudly saying F**K F**K and F**K again, to my surprise it does work and reports the burn to be correct. Even the verify succeeds but I have my doubts and it certainly doesn't feel safe at all. What can be the cause of this error and how do I fix it? The complete log here: Hi! Just burned my first 360 disc following all the guidelines with layerbreak, booktype and the alike. Using quality verbatim media and all. It looked great until the very last second during the closing of the track, where an error pops up, I click TRY AGAIN, and it works saying the burn was successfull but this doesn't feel secure at all, I don't know if I'd put this disc in the 360 even if the verify suceeds (running right now). What may be the cause for this problem? The error was: "Potential 'WaitImmediateIO' Deferred Error - (0/2) - Power Calibration Area Error". My burner is a Sony DW-G120A. Btw, THE READ VERIFY CHECKS, just finished, can you really trust this? The complete log: I 14:59:18 ImgBurn Version 2.3.2.0 started!
