Hello, I have a Samsung SH-S183L dvd-writer and a Gigabyte GA-P35 DS4 motherboard. Everything was fine for about 9 months. Since thursday I got this error "Power On, Reset, or Bus Device Reset Occurred". It happened during burning a dvd, where imgburn had a problem finding a sector. Since then this error message appears every few seconds in the main window from imgburn. Yesterday I installed windows from the scratch and the problem seems to disappear. But today it is the same as before the new installation from windows. Sorry, but I don't have the original log file. thanks in advance, kamike

Hi, I deleted the burned image and tried it with a new created image (failed) but I think even if all the data is the same, you couldn't compare it. kamike

Hi, thanks a lot for solving the problem. I switched to the SPTI-Interface and burned successfully without any error messages. the only question left with the log file: W 08:37:18 Failed to Write Sectors 596544 - 596575 - No Additional Sense Information W 08:37:18 Retrying (1 of 20)... I 08:37:18 Writing Image... Was the error solved when Imgburn made the first retry and the final message was "Operation Successfully Completed! " . Hi, i have burnt three dual layer discs with my new Samsung S183 and got these errors in the log file: Failed to Write Sectors 2799088 - 2799119 - No Additional Sense Information I burnt another dual layer disc with my laptop with the same media and got no errors, also burnt a lot of dual layer discs on my old pc and no problems at all (always the same media used).
