  1. Sorry cornholio. A big mistake on my behalf. This won't happen again.
  2. Sorry to write this again but somebody closed the topic one me. To answer your question lFC rule, these aren't disks that I have copied from blank ones. These are actual proper original movie disk that I have bought. I tried another copy of The Interpreter from my rental store and this disk was also an incompatible format. These are Universal Studio disks and the New Jack City is from Warner Bros. Have you guys ever had this problem when your burner just can't or won't read the disks??? Thanks

    DL Media Tests

Hi ifcrule and grain I tried to change my booktype on the weekend without success. I have a pioneer dvr-108 and there are no pioneer tabs to change. Also all the tabs do not say DVD-ROM they all say DVD+R DL or DVD+R or DVD-R. How can I change the booktype?? Thanks
  4. Hi Guys I have been having a problem lately with only a couple of discs. I have a Pioneer DVR-108 Burner and for some unknown reason has been unable to read movie discs. I tried the Interpreter on Saturday and the anniversary disc of New Jack City and both disks can't or won't be read by my drive. These same disks can easily be read by my DVD Player at home ok but not on my computer. I did Batman and War of the Worlds and these were fine reading in my computer. For the past 6 months every other movie has been fine, could this be some sort of new protection??? Or could it be I need to udate my region?? DVD Decrypter says it is an uncompatible medium??? Hopefully you can help Thanks

    DL Media Tests

Thanks for your reply grain. Mitsubishi seems to be a little bit cheaper over here in oz than verbatim are. I might try them. Maxdata comes up as Ricoh in DVDDecrypter, but they seem to be a bit funny. The first 3 I used were great, but now the next 3 have come up with the IO error, and it is not correctable. Only in the verification part. The movie still plays fine on the home DVD player, but on the PC gets stuck after about 1/2 way through the movie. So I will try some mitsubishis. Thanks again
