  1. OK Thanks. That's important to me so I'll probably look and see if another freeware prog has that.
  2. I have two questions. One--I would like to set the default burn settings so that the disc is NOT finalized unless I tell IMGBurn to do so--so if I don't do anything, I will always be able to add more. What options do I check? Two--when I burn a DVD, I notice quite a few options/windows coming up, for naming, etc. I always click OK and everything is fine. Is there any way I can cut down the number of windows before I actually start burning? The first is something about root folder; the second is volume label; the third is the stats for the burn. I really don't care to see any of them by default. Any way to turn them off? Other than that, I really do like imgburn--its fast and creates fewer coasters than other progs.
  3. I found a freeware program that took the MPEG2 and turned it into a dvd-playable file--DVD styler. Thanks for the guidance, tho.
  4. OK now I'm confused (actually, it was before this point, but we don't need to go there)---I earlier tried converting it to AVI, but it didn't work. I always thought AVI or WMV was the dvd format. If mpeg2 isn't the standard dvd format (that plays in dvd players)-what is?
  5. Not too sure which it is. The product of the conversion (I convert it from MP4) is a folder called DVD_NTSC, which has the mpg in it. It is a single file, and not what I see when I've coverted VHS to DVD, with the myriad of files.
  6. I have an MPEG2 video file that I am trying to burn onto a DVD and show on a regular DVD player with a TV. The file itself has audio (it plays just fine on my laptop), but at some point when burning it onto a DVD, something happens, b/c I can't seem to get audio on the file that is burned. When I play it on a dvd player with a tv, I get the video just fine, but no audio. Is there a special setting I need to check?
