I tried also other programs on mac, i followed the instructions, and nothing worked...i am starting to believe that the drive is responsible for all the problems i am having...

Thank you for your reply. You are right, i tried imgburn and nero to change the bitsetting, but with no success ;/ i am a little bit afriad to change something in firmware, from what i ve read , many people regret it

I have been experimenting for a while, and i decided to change the book type. I read somewhere that my drive is the LG drive, but everytime i choose the LG drive i get message in the same window: Invalid field in CDB. If i decide to write with this error i get message that burn is failed because of the invalid field in parameter list

Hi all, I have the same problem. I run Widnows XP in the Parallels Desktop. I am using the Verbatim DVD+R DL (made in India). My drive is HL-DT-ST DVDRW GWA4080MA AE39 (macbook pro). I do not know what to do, these verbatims weren't so cheap ;-) Please, someone help, i bough bunch of them ;p
