  1. That seems to do it, I'll never doubt manufacturer DVD quality again. THANKS!
  2. I'm getting "Failed to set L0 Data Zone Capacity / Reason: Power Calibration Area Error" pop-up errors every time I attempt to burn a 8.5 Gig DVD+R DL (Memorex). I'm using LITE-ON DVDRW SH-16A7S WS04 (ATA) DVD Burner, I've checked for firmware updates on www.liteonit.com and couldn't even find my burner in their list. this only happens when burning dual layer DVDs, single layer 4.7 Gig DVDs work great. below is my log: I 19:56:28 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! I 19:56:28 Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 2) I 19:56:28 Total Physical Memory: 982,508 KB - Available: 512,056 KB I 19:56:28 Initialising SPTI... I 19:56:28 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices... I 19:56:40 Found 1 DVD
  3. I am having the same issue, I'm using a Lite-on DVDRW SH-16A7S WS04. I have looked up drivers but the liteonit.com webpage doesn't have any in the list. I'm using Memorex DVD+R DL media.
  4. I have tried the same, Lite-on does not have new firmware for my burner {LITE-ON DVDRW SH-16A7S WS04 (ATA)} I am also getting the Power Calibration Area Error, only I am getting mine before writing even begins. this only happens on Dual Layer DVDs, I can write single layer 4.7 Gig DVDs with no issue. ImgBurn Error Message: Failed to set L0 Data Zone Capacity / Reason: Power Calibration Area Error.
