  1. How long time in minutes did you wait?
  2. What's in the two ISO files? Video/game/other?
  3. There is no write strategy for that media code in the burners firmware. So it's just using a generic write strategy and that seems to not work to well. Either get a burner that supports that new media code or get some more generic discs like Verbatim.
  4. Press on the "Paste" icon in the posting window.
  5. Can you post the logs of those two attempts? http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14632
  6. I would try to use a cleaning disc, might be that the laser head is dirty. Same issue if you try with 8x write speed?
  7. Tried a write/burn with that setting disabled?
  8. Same issue if you try with another RW disc? Scratches/dirt on it?
  9. It sure looks to me as you do have a CD disc in the burner.
  10. The oversizing of the game is in a kind a copy protection measure and discussing how to overcome that is not really legal in this forums home country. Suggest that you Bing it on game forums for this task.
  11. External with USB 3.0 should work. http://www.asus.com/Notebooks/Gaming_Powerhouse/G73Jw/#specifications
  12. It's only a Blu-ray reader, not a burner/writer. http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/LiteOn+DS-4E1S+4x+Blu-ray+ROM...RW+SATA+Drive+?productId=41812
  13. Off? According to the log it was never installed.
  14. Curious. Have you seen any semaphore issues on USB 3.0 devices?
  15. There were some updates in SP1 regarding USB stuff.
  16. That's just the odd thing with the semaphore issue. It works on some computers and not on some.
  17. Sounds as the "box" SATA --> USB that is the issue. Some USB equipment just go grazy and report that semaphore error. No chance you can connect it directly USB --> USB?
  18. Tried to write at 4x write speed? In what shape is the disc? Scratched/fingerprinted?
  19. Can you post the full log of that failed burn? http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14632
  20. The last time I had the issue was with ver 1.56 and after that never had SPTD installed. Also only DVD -R media was affected. Tried with the latest 1.81 version and no speed limit issue. Seems they fixed the problem.
  21. Can you post the log of that failed burn? http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14632
  22. Perhaps it should be written to a double layer disc? (I know nothing about Mac stuff )
  23. You can't have ImgBurn to "span" it to two discs. You need to do that split in another program. What's in the ISO? Depending on what's in the ISO, you could mount it and do two new builds to ISO in ImgBurn.
  24. Might be that they put more effort in to get a better firmware tuning for Blu-ray and "forget" to do the same for DVDs.
