You have to admit they sounded pretty darn good. We were used to AM radio and these sounded a whole lot better than that. FM was little more than a wet dream at that time.

Stealing 8 track players was a thriving business when I was young. I lost three of them to the thieving bastards. Cassettes might have been invented before the 8 track, but at that time , they weren't as good or as readily available. However, when they did start mass producing them, 8 tracks became obsolete almost overnight.

Yay! I liked that story and MJ, you're right. It's a "feel good" story. In this day and age, everyone seems to forget what is truely important. I applaud the efforts of all the rescuers involved. They are true heroes! They were willing to risk everything to save an unfortunate soul from certain death where others would just as easily have looked the other way as if it didn't matter.

Here's another one that say's it all! We, the people of the United States of America, as a whole, better wake up and smell the roses because something has been smelling rotten for quite a while. It's a shame when your own leaders are selling you out! I often wonder why so many people tend to live in their "own little world" with their rose colord glasses and fail to see the real picture. Are so many people that blind? Or don't they care about the future of their country?

I wonder if the King George (whom I won't refer to as an asshole) has any interests in Hutchison Whampoa Ltd., which is the company hired to do these searches. You know, if you or I did some of the shit George and his kronies are pulling, it would be called treason! How much deeper can he put his country? Our forefathers and all the Ameicans who died in all the wars to preserve this country have to be rolling over in their graves. I wonder if George likes what he sees in the mirror every morning?

Personally, I think the dvd's,good media of coarse, will be obsolete before it goes bad. The are always coming out with bigger, better, faster, cheaper ways of getting in your wallet!
