  1. Ok, I will post the image of the window on the right from the LiteOn drive.... I should also let you know, it takes a very long time for ImgBurn to get the Media Status (the LG drive takes less time to get the Media Status...) The LG drive will get the Media Status in about 2 min, whereas the LiteOn drive takes almost 7 min... I can only assume this is because the Memorex Media is faulty, so it takes ImgBurn a while to get the info it needs.... Here is the info from the box on the right in the LiteOn drive: ATAPI iHBS112 2 CL0K (ATAPI) Current Profile: BD-R Disc Information: Status: Complete State of Last Session: Complete Erasable: No Sessions: 1 Sectors: 11,929,696 Size: 24,432,017,408 bytes Time: 2651:04:46 (MM:SS:FF) TOC Information: Session 1... 2. As I stated in my first post, the log file I posted was just to show a recent copy of the ImgBurn log file... The reason there was no verify in that section of the log file is that burn was a test burn.... Again, as I said earlier, I first burn the backup to a BD-RE to test the backup on my Pioneer BDP-320, if it plays ok, I then burn it again to a normal BD-R, and I use the verify function at that point. At any rate, here is a copy of the log when I try to read a Memorex BD-R that has failed (no longer plays): I 10:38:05 ImgBurn Version 2.5.5.0 started! 3. I am aware that Discovery Mode is for testing/burning blank media... I then switched to Read Mode if the Memorex media is still readable and made an ISO copy on the hard drive. I also always use the Verify option when burning BD-R/BD-RE media. And in answer to Rincewind, I only use BD-RE media to test the backup... If the BD-RE backup plays ok, I then burn it to a normal BD-R.
  4. I seem to be running into a problem with some Blu-ray backups I have made... After backing up the movie with DVDFab, then burning the backup to a 25GB Blu-ray blank, then testing said backup and it plays fine. I have just started to go over some of my older backups, and find that they will not play now. I put said backup into my computer, and upon checking it with ImgBurn (in Discovery Mode), it shows the disc as being written to, but there is no information on the disc... It is almost as if the information on the disc has vanished... I am very confused by this, and am now wondering if all of my backups are going to eventually disappear... I of course no longer have the log file from when I burned the backup, as it was a long time ago now, but I do remember that there was no problems with the burning process itself... If it does help, here is a copy of the recent log file: ; //****************************************\\ ; ImgBurn Version 2.5.5.0 - Log ; Wednesday, 16 March 2011, 13:34:32 ; \\****************************************// ; ; I 12:56:05 ImgBurn Version 2.5.5.0 started!
