  1. Bad news guys..i used up my very last verbatim blank, now i have none left. #39;( However my last verbatim managed to pull it off with my updated NEC drive and the mission was a success. Too bad i wasted my time on my quad cores drive instead of switching to my p4 drive I've been reformating my computer so much i forgot to update the greatest thing of all..the dvd drive. Now my beloved verbatims..you may rest peacefully. Just remember folks..UPDATE your firmware before you end out of precious verbatims like moi. Anyway thanks alot everyone ..to think i was going to try clonecd..foolish me. I 21:11:31 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! I 21:11:31 Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition (6.0, Build 6002 : Service Pack 2) I 21:11:31 Total Physical Memory: 3,143,440 KB - Available: 1,629,156 KB I 21:11:31 Initialising SPTI... I 21:11:31 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices... I 21:11:34 Found 1 DVD
  2. Is it really okay if i change my current TS-H653L firmware to a SH-S183L firmware? What i mean is if it is safe to do so? It's the same drive, its just different firmwares. If your current firmware doesn't do what you need it to do, whats the reason that stopping you? If you do it properly(make sure there is no media inside) everything will work fine. Just follow the instructions on the flasher. Did you try updating firmware on that other drive? How did the burning go? thanks i didnt know what the out come would be, thats why i ask
