Hi it looks as if it is just the 2 discs I burned as avchd that wont erase subsequent ones burned as standard dvd are ok .Not sure if Magix has some sort of file lock still trying to find out .At least as I thought it isn't imgburn nor the actual disc brand .Thanks both for all your help

Same result and same message.It will read and write seems to just be the erase Just tried to erase with Magix and got cant finalise disc may be being used by other drive

Hi I just started getting this comeup E 21:43:40 Failed to Erase Disc! - Reason: Logical Unit Software Write Protected when I try to erase a dvd,No fault of imgburn I would think as I have just installed adobe premiere elements and updated my nvideo drivers .Which I think may be the culprit .Any solution to overcome this problem please. This is a home made video burnt with imgburn

HI its one I downloaded supposed to be .wmv it plays on wm player but I cant stand watching on pc .I have put it on dvd and that will only play on wm player as well.Img burn will copy it but only as it is .

Not sure of the terminology but I have a video on dvd as a data dvd which plays on pc but not dvd plaayer .Can imgburn convert this from data Iso to one that would make a dvd that would play on my player Thank you

OK guys thanks to your help Now sorted .Following the golden rule of one move at atime tried different brand Infiniti and it worked then installed the update and lo and behold it worked with my Verbatim Cheers

Thanks guys tried the update wont download page not available . As for discs I got no problem with the same ones and have tried different ones on his albeit still Verbatim Rw's. It throws wobblers with both imgburn and ashampoo.Guess he need s to spend some dosh

Hi trying to get my mate started on dvd burning and tried to burn with img burn .This was a Verbatim RW+ and had been erased previously on my pc the first that came up was disc needs to be formatted clicking on yes brought up needs to be erased then failure .Bring the disc back to my pc and imgburn says the same except it does do a full erase. This is whatt came upon his and no the file was not copywrited in any way. Just to update tried with Verbatim disc today and no problems thanks again for all input

No there are no updates available as far as I know .I thought it might be the media as I normally use verbatim at present using memorex.However thpught that would be aproblem acros the board not just Img burn .Have some verbatim coming in will see if its ok with them
