  1. Dear “Lightening UK” I read your licensing message on the web site where you state: First and foremost, ImgBurn is a freeware tool. You cannot bundle it with your own commercial application and you cannot sell it in any way, shape or form. I’d like to understand what “bundling” means to you. Allow me to explain why I’m asking. We sell a data recording product to the US Government and Defense Departments around the world. This recorder accepts many types of data, including video. One of our customers has asked us to allow us to ‘pull out’ the video from the multiplexed file and create a video file that can then be put onto DVD. It is easy for us to pull out the file into a “file.TS” format, and we certainly DO NOT want to write DVD burning software. Since I use IMGBURN both at home and at work (I’ve contributed), I’d like to put text in my manual that says “go download IMGBURN to create your DVD”. Problem is that on many government installations, they cannot connect to an open internet, nor can they put new software onto equipment they buy from vendors (especially when it’s a Windows machine ‘underneath’ like ours is). Thus, I’d like to include IMGBURN on our distribution media. It would NOT be integrated into my software, but instead it would be installed on the machine and either started via the desktop icon, or by double-clicking the .TS file. We would not make ANY inference or statement that we in any way are owners of IMGBURN code, and would state in the manual something like “IMGBURN is provided as a courtesy and remains the copyright of its originator”. Is this an acceptable use / distribution of IMGBURN? I could even submit the manual to you for your review / approval. Thank you for your time. tpg ps ... I tried to email you the brochure on our product, but your support@imgburn email doesn't work
