  1. It didn't ruin anything. You were just clickhappy going 'next next next', and didn't read/look. I've done numerous installs over the years since the last release and NEVER had a problem. Besides, there's multiple ways to avoid/disable getting the offers in the first place. You have a nice day too. I'm no moderator or anything, but if you post using that language again, I will do my absolute best to report you to the authorities for threats against someone's life Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 7 met Tapatalk
  2. I only use the printable versions so i'll link those first (printables have a full white surface a compatible printer like the canon pixma ip7250 can print on directly) and i only buy in spindles https://www.informatique.nl/zoeken/?q=verbatim%20dvd+R&k=20180823&g=161 DVD+R DL 10st standard https://www.informatique.nl/522103 DVD+R DL 25st standard https://www.informatique.nl/890871 DVD+R DL 50st standard https://www.informatique.nl/522105/ DVD+R DL 25st printable https://www.informatique.nl/890871 DVD+R SL 50st standard https://www.informatique.nl/518645 DVD+R SL 100st standard https://www.informatique.nl/518646 Though i buy mine usually in germany DVD+R SL 10st standard https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/verbatim-dvdr-47gb-16x-10er-spindel DVD+R SL 25st standard https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/verbatim-dvdr-47gb-16x-25er-spindel DVD+R SL 50st standard https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/verbatim-dvdr-47gb-16x-50er-spindel DVD+R SL 50st printable https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/verbatim-dvdr-47gb-16x-inkjet-white-50er-spindel DVD+R DL 10st standard https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/verbatim-dvdr-dl-85gb-8x-10er-spindel DVD+R DL 50st standard https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/verbatim-dvdr-dl-85gb-8x-50er-spindel DVD+R DL 25st printable https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/verbatim-dvdr-dl-85gb-8x-inkjet-white-25er-spindel That's just 2 of the ones i have bookmarked. And for reference between good verbatim and "outsourced cheap CMC crap verbatim" BAD: life series https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/verbatim-dvdr-dl-97693-wide-1x50-8x-speed-85gb-life-series GOOD: https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/verbatim-dvdr-dl-85gb-8x-50er-spindel How to spot the difference then? well take a look at the packaging. The first one is white/blue, mentiones life series, does NOT have the quality "AZO" dye logo and is rather cheap The good ones have the known blue/purple packaging and if you'll look in the bottom left corner you'll see a small logo "AZO" where the O looks like a disc, and they're nearly double the price of the bad ones. (Quality has it's cost!) There's also the fact that the good stuff uses a Media IDentifier of either MKM-xxx-xx or MCC-xxx-xx (notice the difference between the bad stuff CMC-xxx-xx and MCC-xxx-xx, only 1 letter different) for DVD's or VERBAT-IMx-xx for BD's See this link http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?/topic/25337-invalid-address-for-write/&do=findComment&comment=162764 for the proper media identifiers of the GOOD verbatim discs.
  3. I didn't say it was bad. Just a question as to why it is what it is. Been 15 years since my last school day that's all. Your English is perfectly understandable. Now, 1 batch of discs isn't the same as another, even if it's from the same brand. Especially when it's a (for us more experienced users) known cheap crappy type. You're using an LG drive so it's probably gonna go away when you swap discs. I'll see if I can't locate a couple webshop's tonight that ship them (selling is no problem, shipping is another matter thanks to that damn auvibel tax). Start with the blanks, I doubt it's the drive. Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 6P met Tapatalk
  4. I'llt belgian too but mine's excellent. Did they stop starting to teach English from age 11? For me that was 14 years ago. Support is via forum only. That said, step 1 would usually man to read the forum rules ( pink box up top) which would ask your for the full imgburn log, not a badly readable image. However the image is good enough to see your using cheap crappy RITEK based blank discs. That's about the worst brand of blanks you can get. Get a better brand of discs like the best one there is like verbatim (but the datalife plus type you can only find online, not the outsourced store bought 'life series') and the problem should go away. Now if your do not fully understand all that in English, I can say it again in NL provided@lightning UK will permit it side the default forum language is English only. 5. Just because you didn't abort yourself means nothing. The drive had a write error, disconnected... So the write phase was terminated the hard way, not a damn thing you can do to fix that write and continue where it failed. Not even with a rewriteable disc. Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 6P met Tapatalk
  6. On top of that you can just unpack the installer with 7zip and extract the exe directly and replace it that way. But yes, I've never had an install where you couldn't do it. I'll admit the offers FYI they're best to make it LOOK like you can't (a custom install hyperlink instead of a checkbox, making the disagree checkbox LOOK unselectable,...) but ice ALWAYS been able to reject any and all offers presented every single time. There's there's the install switches like /nocandy, temp disable internet (won't be able to push any offers to begin with) that let you disable it forcefully... Then there's the fact that imgburn nor the installer are responsible for any offers itself. The install is a wrapper they loads the opencandy.dll. That DLL is responsible for the presented offers. So if you want to report anyone, report the right party Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 6P met Tapatalk
  7. Well you can close the session with something like Nero, but you can't continue the burn in a new session where you left off. Imgburn can't do that at all (close session afaik). What you have is a coaster Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 6P met Tapatalk
  8. That's not an IMGBurn problem. You need to change the windows autostart settings Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 7 met Tapatalk
  9. Glad we could help Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 7 met Tapatalk
  10. It's on the packaging: See https://www.amazon.co.uk/Verbatim-43738-25GB-BD-R-Printable/dp/B00DHS9F5I 2nd image above the BD logo. Those are the ones I use and if you have compatible printer, let you print DIRECTLY on the disc (eg for artwork) (50 pack spindle) I usually buy mine in 25pack, and look like similar to this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Verbatim-43738-25GB-BD-R-Printable/dp/B0047V04MM The ones you linked, look like the right ones, but are "branded" (eg: verbatim text on the label on top instead of full white) To be sure you have the right one's, is rather simple once you have them in possession Anything other than the MID's listed below is fake / outsourced DVD+R (x16) : MID => MCC-004-00 DVD+R DL (x8) : MID => MKM-003-00 BD-R (x6): MID => VERBAT-IMe-00 BD-R DL (x6): MID => VERBAT-IMf-00 BD-RE (25GB) (x2): VERBAT-IM1-00 <== NO LONGER BEING PRODUCED? IF you can find them, and want to be absolutely sure they are the good stuff (Verbatim nowadays outsources their BD-RE's to CMC Magnetics, cheap crap) The ONLY CORRECT PART NUMBER (above the barcode) is 97536-203 (Extremely difficult to find, expensive but worth every dime)
  11. Those are the cheap outsourced store bought cmcmag crappy life series blanks. That's your problem. Verbatim outsources their cheaper one to the lowest quality blank manufacturer there's is. You need the online only 'datalife plus' ones. And probably another drive too. 2x supported write speed is very slow. Burning too slow can be problematic by itself too Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 7 met Tapatalk
  12. Lightning knows the details. The right media are the verbatim dual layer ones, but the drive don't know. All I know it's only certain models that can do it right. Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 7 met Tapatalk
  13. 2 problems with that, overburning isn't as easy as just telling the drive to burn an ISO. You neither have the right drive for it, nor are you using the proper blanks to do it. One DVD DL, isn't another. Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 6P met Tapatalk
  14. I use the Canon PIXMA iP7200 Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 7 met Tapatalk
  15. Those are the printable good ones yes, but got a THERMAL printer only, as in the packaging. The ones for a normal printer say 'wide inkjet printable'. But the packaging like that is correct. Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 6P met Tapatalk
  16. That's not real quality verbatim. That's the lower grade 'outsourced cheap crap' "life series" you find in a retail store. You need the ones with the VERBAT-IMx-000 id. That's the online only and good stuff. Those you got, I bet you won't even make it halfway through the pack / spindle before you have your first burn failure. If not that, good chances your standalone player won't play them. Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 6P met Tapatalk
  17. Not according to the disc MID. CMC MAG-D03-64 That's the cheap crap life series made by CMC magnetics. Real verbatim uses either MKM or MCC at the beginning Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 7 met Tapatalk
  18. Mine were in red/silver but they were the good ones. Probably there was a crossover period to the cheap crap we know today. I'm just glad that after 5y+ I finally have the good stuff again. Every Amazon UK/FR/DE i tried was the cheap stuff. Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 6P met Tapatalk
  19. They do outsource them. If you try to pick them up nowv(at least in every retail, web and Amazon shop I could find) they're red/silver with MID: CMCMAG-CN2-00 The VERBAT-IM1-00 is no longer being produced. They'll tell you that if you ask them :-) Took me 5+ years if not more to see them again, so I didn't hesitate even for a split second when I had the chance to snap some up. I never had the bh/wh14. I went from 8 to 10, 12 and 16. Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 6P met Tapatalk
  20. I don't own they one either. My most recent one is the bh16ns55. Still have my bh10 and my bh16ns40 has been stored as a backup. Before that I've had the bh08 and bh12. All worked perfectly and did so on all accounts until I personally decided to retire them for a more recent and faster model. I have had indeed had some trouble with bd-re dl but that was the blanks problem. Not the drive. As you know verbatim outsourced their bd-re's, well after YEARS of searching (after they stopped producing them), I had an opportunity over at the redfox forum thanks to a member to snap some of the REAL GOOD ONES (MID: VERBAT-IM1-00!!!) up. Had to import them from the USA to Belgium, and adding item cost, shipping and import taxes I think it was about 150€/10. But damn worth every damn penny. I currently only have 1 in active use, and I sure as hell am not going to open another one until that first one starts to fail. The other 9 are stored in a dark dry place inside the plastic wrapper and cardboard box they came in to keep them in pristine condition. Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 6P met Tapatalk
  21. I've never had any issues whatsoever with my current and past LG drives. Combined with verbatim that's a killer combo for me. In fact I've had other brands like pioneer and Asus and they've all failed me while an LG drive purchased at the same time just kept going. For reading AND burning the same. Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 6P met Tapatalk
  22. Not providing more info as to what you're doing or the IMGBurn log 100% Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 7 met Tapatalk
  23. It can reflect actual free space. You just need to do the opposite of what you're doing. You're adding files first, then insert a blank. Insert a blank FIRST and THEN add your files. That way the auto calculate will use the proper free space provided by the inserted disc Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 7 met Tapatalk
  24. I'd love to see a statement from lightning UK backing up your claim. Oh wait, you're not going to find one, because he never said it was dead. Just because something hasn't been updated in a while doesn't mean it stops working. Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 6P met Tapatalk
  25. Your conversion software, imgburn only burns what you feed it. It's (your source) already out of sync before you burn. Sent from my Nexus 6P with Tapatalk
