1 of course they don't have the same consistency. One uses inorganic dye the other a carbon. You've been told that a dozen times now. 2. The same place as with any optical disc. Dark and dry place. Google it Sent from my Nexus 6P with Tapatalk.

Here we go again, instead of burn and dye composite questions we've now gone into fungus world. You read on the internet about the fungus, use those same internet search/reading skills to know what and how it does what it does. Sent from my Nexus 7 (2013) with Tapatalk

You just don't give up do you. Every day new questions. How do uit expect us to predict YOUR results with Mdisc over years when Mdisc is very new? Try it and test for yourself then make your conclusions. No, we already told your a few times here. MDISC uses an inorganic carbon recording surface. Sent from my Nexus 6P with Tapatalk.

    BD all fail verify?

You have branded inkjet datalife ones, and non branded. Neither have ever given me issues. I've pretty much only used printable verbatim (branded and non branded) with my lg burners. No issues ever. Sent from my Nexus 6P with Tapatalk.

    BD all fail verify?

Use better blanks. CMCmag is pure crap of the cheapest kind. Sent from my Nexus 6P with Tapatalk.

  10. Neither the region or LTH type have anything to do with the movie playing or of sequence. Incorrect scene order is usually a protection issue or the player picking the wrong playlist Sent from my Nexus 6P with Tapatalk.

What does that have to do with any burn errors. That is as far of topic distance worst as the earth is to the sun. That thing is just detecting the opencandy dll Sent from my Nexus 6P with Tapatalk.

Multiple complete DVDs to single Blu-ray

The ps3 isnt a software player which I clearly said. The ps3 can play DVD's but it can't play video structures on a data disc. A data Blu-ray disc with multiple dvd video structures on it doesn't suddenly turn it into a super sized DVD. The file structure doesn't match, the filesystem won't match,... Result: invalid disc for hardware players. Software players don't have that problem, you point them to the DVD root folder and they start playing. Sent from my Nexus 6P with Tapatalk.

Multiple complete DVDs to single Blu-ray

Well he can do what he wants if he burns as data disc. It can contain the full structures for storage but that's it. Only thing that will work is pointing a software player to the DVD's main folder for playback. Sent from my Nexus 6P with Tapatalk.

    ASMedia 106x SATA Controller

If you'll read the notice that comes with asmedia chipsets it's real easy. 'DATA drives only' aka HDD or SSD. ODD's are not supported at all or can have erratic behavior Sent from my Nexus 6P with Tapatalk.

Imgburn is has malware in the installer

I'm not apologising for anything or anyone. I've been using ImgBurn since it was bundled with the ASK toolbar, not ONCE have i been hit by unwanted installations. All the installer does is load the opencandy dll. It's that dll that connects to the ad server and downloads/installs the offers. I'm not disagreeing that the way opencandy does this is good (they make opt out things look like you can't select them), but that's opencandy doing that. LightningUK has no control over that. But if it's any consilidation, afaik he said that the company behind opencandy closed up it's opencandy division to focus their efforts elsewhere. As to the 2 topics, no it doesn't and thats considered crossposting, double posting (especially if there's only 3 minutes between them) and spamming. Some forums issue (temp) bans for that kind of behavior

Imgburn is has malware in the installer

And why are making 2 topics? I've never had any issues ImgBurn installing anything I didn't want it to. YOU accepted the offers and told the opencandy plugin used to install it. ImgBurn didn't do that on its own. Sent from my Nexus 7 (2013) with Tapatalk
  17. You placed it there by clicking NEXT without looking at the screens. ImgBurn installer doesn't install anything you don't tell it to install. You uninstall the offers YOU ACCEPTED to install the same way you do anything else. Go to windows software and programs, select the item and uninstall. Sent from my Nexus 7 (2013) with Tapatalk

    Questions errors burn

Basically what lightning and I have said a few times now but you still refuse to read, maybe caps will help. THE DEFAULT SETTINGS USUALLY WORK FINE FOR MAXIMUM COMPATIBILITY. Stop messing with things or risk creating issues. Repeatedly asking the same things over and over will not change the previous answers. Sent from my Nexus 7 (2013) with Tapatalk

    Questions errors burn

There is no best. Not for anything. 'best' is relative. What may work for one user may not work for you at all. There's too many variables. Your blanks, the type, your burner, the firmware,... Default usually works fine. You don't give up do you? Always more questions 'what's best for this, what's best for doing that...'. maybe you should read post 74 again. dvd:///D:/ error

Yes and no. MTS is primarily linked to AVCHD. Blu-ray is M2TS only, not MTS.

    Questions errors burn

Again not related to burn errors. Why do you keep going further away from the original issue. Different 'questions' : different topic Mode selector - burn folders to disc - done. Imgburn burns exactly what you tell it to burn. If you select a folder it will burn the folder and it's contents. If you only select the folder contents then it only burns that. It's not possible that you select a folder with contents and imgburn only burning the contents and not the folder too. Anyway out for good now. No doubt after this round of questions you'll come up with some more, again not related to the original topic questions. Cya Sent from my Nexus 6P with Tapatalk.

    dvd:///D:/ error

Unless I'm mistaking the DVD standard dictates at least 1gb needs to be written for successful playback. I doubt your few second clip matches the requirements. And then there's the fact that you're using CMC mag am3 cheap crap blanks. Sent from my Nexus 6P with Tapatalk.

No they can't. Disable via task manager, but if you don't know EXACTLY what you're doing you'll cause system instability. You just don't give up do you? More and more questions way beyond op. Sent from my Nexus 6P with Tapatalk.

The semaphore timeout period has expired.

If you'll look in your logs you'll see a line referring 'SPTI', that's the default one and issued by Microsoft in Windows. Elbycdio is about and sptd yet another. Sent from my Nexus 6P with Tapatalk.

The semaphore timeout period has expired.

I think what lightning means it's installing something that installs an io controller. Like virtual clone drive from elaborate bytes (free) which installs elbycdio.dll that can then be selected in IMGBurn, or daemon tools (which installs sptd but I nor ImgBurn like that one very much). See if that makes any difference, an io controller is completely different from the physical connection the drive uses. The USB driver is also a different component to the overall equation.
