  1. You do know you're quoting a 2.5yr old post right?

I am wanting to find a HD DVD-RW drive, the Toshiba SD-L912A, but I can't seem to find one.

The media is currently available in eBay.com (US) site: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-new-Ritek-Toshiba-HD-DVD-RW-15GB-Blank-Media-pack-of-3-discs/263804334044

Would you be willing to sell me the SD-L912A drive after testing?  Maybe we can work something out.

  2. There's no way to know how long it would take. The threshold warning doesn't come up unless you're reading from and writing in some way to the same drive. Causing the drive needle to constantly do 2 things at once and thus causing that 'delay'.

  3. 5 packs do not exist. Packaging starts at 10

    Shop 1: https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/search?cid=0&q=verbatim cd-r&As=False&Isc=False&Sid=True&category=||Category%3aCD+Blank+Discs

    Shop 2: https://www.informatique.nl/zoeken/?k=20180921&q=verbatim+cd-r&s=

    Shop 3: https://azerty.nl/search-bar?keywords=verbatim+cd-r#!sorting=12&limit=12&view=grid

I usually get mind from link 1. Takes about a week to arrive, and i don't order much as i always buy in bulk (multiples of 100). Last order i placed, was for about 400 DVD+r's

  4. Yup, but they won my mind. DVD+r is for me far superior then dvd-r. And to add more confusion +r was then again abandoned for BD's :-P

Damn people, make up your ffing mind :-D

  5. It didn't ruin anything. You were just clickhappy going 'next next next', and didn't read/look. I've done numerous installs over the years since the last release and NEVER had a problem. Besides, there's multiple ways to avoid/disable getting the offers in the first place.

You have a nice day too. I'm no moderator or anything, but if you post using that language again, I will do my absolute best to report you to the authorities for threats against someone's life

  6. I  only use the printable versions so i'll link those first (printables have a full white surface a compatible printer like the canon pixma ip7250 can print on directly) and i only buy in spindles

That's just 2 of the ones i have bookmarked.

And for reference between good verbatim and "outsourced cheap CMC crap verbatim"

    BAD: life series https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/verbatim-dvdr-dl-97693-wide-1x50-8x-speed-85gb-life-series

    GOOD: https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/verbatim-dvdr-dl-85gb-8x-50er-spindel

How to spot the difference then? well take a look at the packaging. The first one is white/blue, mentiones life series, does NOT have the quality "AZO" dye logo and is rather cheap

The good ones have the known blue/purple packaging and if  you'll look in the bottom left corner you'll see a small logo "AZO" where the O looks like a disc, and they're nearly double the price of the bad ones. (Quality has it's cost!)

There's also the fact that the good stuff uses a Media IDentifier of either MKM-xxx-xx or MCC-xxx-xx (notice the difference between the bad stuff CMC-xxx-xx and MCC-xxx-xx, only 1 letter different) for DVD's or VERBAT-IMx-xx for BD's

    See this link http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?/topic/25337-invalid-address-for-write/&do=findComment&comment=162764

for the proper media identifiers of the GOOD verbatim discs.

  7. Hello,

The first writer may translate it to Dutch but it is not so nice to tell to people that their language is not good, I didn't ask you to translate it into Tamil.
So far so good but not a good impression when you come here for the first time.

Dbminter about the same answer of

Ch3vr0n but it is strange that it worked for many years and now not anymore.

Is it realy the dvd is not good, because I could wright data with ImgBurn on a dvd and that was not a problem, so there must be some other reason, don(t you think so?
    I'm going to buy the dvd you told me to buy;
    Thanks,

BTW: I don't find the pink box up top
and the image was good, never heard about programs to enlarge
    Bey Bey

I didn't say it was bad. Just a question as to why it is what it is. Been 15 years since my last school day that's all. Your English is perfectly understandable.

Now, 1 batch of discs isn't the same as another, even if it's from the same brand. Especially when it's a (for us more experienced users) known cheap crappy type. You're using an LG drive so it's probably gonna go away when you swap discs. I'll see if I can't locate a couple webshop's tonight that ship them (selling is no problem, shipping is another matter thanks to that damn auvibel tax).

Start with the blanks, I doubt it's the drive.

  8. I'llt belgian too but mine's excellent. Did they stop starting to teach English from age 11? For me that was 14 years ago. Support is via forum only.

That said, step 1 would usually man to read the forum rules ( pink box up top) which would ask your for the full imgburn log, not a badly readable image. However the image is good enough to see your using cheap crappy RITEK based blank discs. That's about the worst brand of blanks you can get.

Get a better brand of discs like the best one there is like verbatim (but the datalife plus type you can only find online, not the outsourced store bought 'life series') and the problem should go away.

Now if your do not fully understand all that in English, I can say it again in NL provided@lightning UK will permit it side the default forum language is English only.
