Yep, and some, it won't play certain disks with VLC but will play them with Windows Media Player. However, the Wire dvds won't play in the internal drive under either VLC or WMP; but do play in the external drive (TSST SN-S083N) with both..... picky.... Off to enjoy the Reveillon, as they call it here. Barry

I get an i/o error when I click the load button with the interpretation 'invalid field in cdb' I tried to find an updated firmware but the latest on firwarehq couldn't find a suitable drive. Any help appreciated
