[Imgburn now crashes after each closing.]

For some reason Imgburn (2.5.7.0) now crashes everytime it's closed, no matter if it closes automatically or if I close it manually. The message is "Imgburn - The Ultimate Image Burner! has stopped working - A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program."

 

I'm running Windows 7 Pro x64. I tried un-installing and re-installing but same problem. Program works fine when it's running, just crashes after closing it. Beats me if I know what's causing this. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

 

 

 

 

 

I see similar reports on Google about nvinit.dll crashing on application close - with other apps I mean.

A little pushy aren't you!? Obviously he has no timeline. And no inclination to share, which is clearly his prerogative. Some people, really.

Have you tried to uninstall the drive in device manager and then reboot?

you mean I should search for "made in singapore" verbatims here in india. So it a cause with the disc and not with the process or the writer?

 

You might try burning at slower speed or try another brand, but MBIP disks are not historically quality media. MKM uses AZO technology for the dye on their disks that make them superior.

Verbatim (MKM) did outsource some to Moser Bayer India (MBIP). That's why its important to make sure your verbs are Singapore made.

I have used ImgBurn since the beginning. I have never had an issue, so I never thought to join. Just perusing the web and saw someone elses post, so I thought I'd stop in and take a look at what is offered here. Went ahead and registered. Many thanks for the continued support of ImgBurn. It has always been my goto burning software.
