Hello,
I'm in trouble with the very low (and erratic speed that is drive is spinning up and down) while reading/veryfying DVD disks on a new install of ImgBurn 2.5.8.0 on my new computer (DVD drive beeing ASUS DRW-24F1MT (ATAPI device on Port 3 with a SATA transfer rate of 1.5 Gb/s).
I ahve the same problem with all DVDs I tested as well as during a verification process after a successfull burn
Log is below (I stopped the process about 4 minutes after starting the reading process)
Any idea ?

Edit: the problem doesn't occur when manually selecting read speed to 14x / 14x or below, although capabilities are well above that (up to 56x) . Above that (and at MAX setting) the drive is cycling at very low speeds as mentionned above
