  1. The DVD writing program automatically deletes previously written .vob files every time I start up a new project so it couldn't have fixed itself by deleting the file if it kept giving me the error several times. Plus, I would still be getting the error with the Maxell DVDs since I didn't deleted, overwrite, or defrag anything. I don't know. As long as I'm not getting the error anymore, I'm happy with it and I consider the problem solved.
  2. It's not possible that the hdd was having a hard time sending the file to the DVD cause it's a crap brand? I burned another DVD overnight last night and still didn't get the error. With the Memorex brand, I ran 5 or 6 disks and the error came up every time so it can't be a random thing. You can say they're not related but there's too many coincidences that say otherwise.
  3. So you're saying it's just a big coincidence that I started getting the error message the moment I started using Memorex DVD-Rs and it went away when I switched to Maxell DVD-Rs.
  4. I had already done that. In fact, I ran chkdsk before I even came here to ask about the problem. While it did come up with a couple of errors that it fixed, the same error message still appeared when I tried to burn a DVD.
  5. Wrong. I burned the same 3 titles I got the error message on and it worked just fine this time. Burned another 3 titles overnight with no errors. With the other brand of DVD-R, I was getting the same error every time. I've checked websites where people have asked about this same problem and some people said it could be the brand of DVD-R that's causing it. I wasn't getting this error message until I started using the Memorex brand so it's beginning to make a lot of sense.
  6. I don't know but as long as the problem is fixed, that's all I care about.
  7. It must have been the brand of DVD-R afterall cause I switched to Maxell brand and burned 3 titles without getting that error message.
  8. Lately whenever I've tried to burn a DVD, it'll get to the 2nd title and then bring up this error message. I never use to get this before. I am using Memorex DVDs. Could that have something to do with it? I've used Memorex DVD-Rs before with no problems so I don't get why it's giving me issues now. If I burn 1 title, it works fine so I don't understand what's going on. It can't be that it's too large cause DVD Flick would have read 100% and it didn't.
