  1. I doubt it is a problem that would be solved by a Windows reinstall, it is ONLY images created from one disk that are not mountable. Same behavior is observed on several machines. Imgburn has no problems making another copy from the unmountable .ISO file. The contents of the disk seem pretty unremarkable, a couple of sub directories and a few dozen files, mostly video.
  2. Hi. I have a strangely behaving DVD. When an image is created from it, the image seems to be unmountable. Double clicking under Windows 10 just throws up the attached error: "Capture.JPG" This is a burnt CD from a company we regularly do business with, we have successfully made image files of dozens of their disks. The disk itself can be read just fine, and the imaging process seems to run as expected. I can even open the image in WINRAR, so the data is actually there. Cannot get Windows 10 to mount it though. Tried on several machines. I tried grabbing an old disk that I had imaged long ago, it worked as expected. Below are the outputs from "discovery", bad disk first, and a log of an image write that created an mountable image, VV BAD DISK VV ATAPI DVD A DH16AAS JL34 (ATA) Current Profile: DVD-R Disc Information: Status: Incomplete State of Last Session: Empty Erasable: No Sessions: 2 Sectors: 936,560 Size: 1,918,074,880 bytes Time: 208:09:35 (MM:SS:FF) Free Sectors: 1,323,424 Free Space: 2,710,372,352 bytes Free Time: 294:07:49 (MM:SS:FF) Next Writable Address: 974464 MID: MCC 03RG20 Supported Write Speeds: 6x, 8x, 12x, 16x VV GOOD DISK VV ATAPI DVD A DH16AAS JL34 (ATA) Current Profile: DVD-R Disc Information: Status: Incomplete State of Last Session: Empty Erasable: No Sessions: 2 Sectors: 569,056 Size: 1,165,426,688 bytes Time: 126:29:31 (MM:SS:FF) Free Sectors: 1,690,928 Free Space: 3,463,020,544 bytes Free Time: 375:47:53 (MM:SS:FF) Next Writable Address: 606960 MID: CMC MAG.
