  1. Forgot to mention, I was able to get it working right when I started the computer up, but then when I exited the program it started having this error again. Is there any chance it could be related to System Event services? Most of the time I close my PC after IMGBurn hangs there and I have to end task it, my PC gets stuck on "Waiting on System Event Collector" or something of the sort. Thank you!
  2. I had to move the sata cable, as my bios had to change half of the ports on the board to IDE in order for me to make that change, so if anything looks different in the log below that might be why. I did also uninstall the driver and load one that I located for my drive, but I believe it was the same one already installed. It does appear that the program is hanging at a different location now though, so no idea if progress has been made or if it's just another error: Also, thank you greatly for the support, I really appreciate it!
  3. Thank you for the response! Still having the same issue after both of those troubleshooting steps unfortunately. I first did the Safe Boot with Minimal selected and had the same hang-up. I then uninstalled the SATA controller, and then allowed the defaults to be detected by Windows and installed after a reboot. The software still hangs on Searching for SCSI/ATAPI devices or when Debug mode is activated it hangs at Getting Device Capabilities. It still also only closes by ending it in task manager, but it still shows up in the task manager indefinitely, but this might be due to the program waiting for a return request from hardware. I've also air dusted the computer and checked all of the cabling in case there was something simple at fault but have found nothing there. Attached is the log from after uninstalling the SATA controller and letting Windows install the defaults:
  4. I'm having some issue getting IMGburn to work for almost a year now, and finally need to resolve this for a project i'm working on. i was having the Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices hang that I've seen on these support forums a bunch, so I attempted to follow a few of the steps that were said in those. I've updated the Sata controller on the motherboard and still have the same issue. The drive seems to function well, but if I run Imgburn I can no longer get it to open until a restart. Also, I can close IMGBurn only through task manager, but it still shows in task manager and I'm able to click it to end the process but it continues to run without a visable The PC is Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit, and any relevant software that I assume could possibly interfere would be Daemon Tools or Spybot 2,, but I still have the same issue when I deactivate the virtual drive and either of these two services. Below is the Debug log: Below is a list of currently running programs, in case there is a known interference that I am unaware of: Hopefully this is enough information to provide any insight, but please let me know if any more is requested.
