Edited by Rfbaseump I did some more looking.
I am running Windows7 pro, I downloaded and installed imgburn free. I have a disk in my optical drive D it is a new dvd-r disk. I open imgburn, select burn to disk, then click on browse button, and select the file I want too burn to the disk and then I select verify. I go to burn file to the disk and the burn button is greyed out, in the lower left corner of the window it reads disk not empty. I don't understand, It is a brand new disk and Windows shows it is empty. I did some more looking, I don't if this means anything but I looked and the disk showed as a dvdrw. The disk I put in the drive is a dvd r in all reality.
