  1. Open an elevated Command Prompt (right-click on it and choose Run as Administrator) then run chkdsk /r c: It should take some time and it'll repair the errors if there are any.
  2. That's a limitation of the Windows folder picker thing. You know you can drag and drop folders into ImgBurn's Build mode, right? You could also try the Advanced Input mode.

  4. You can find a shorcut to the previous burn logs in ImgBurn's Help menu.
  5. If you want to make a system image you should use programs like Acronis True Image, Norton Ghost or similar. ImgBurn is for burning files/folders to disc or creating optical disc images.
  6. The disc burned and verified fine, so the problem is with your source content/files. Do your players support playing PAL discs?
  7. You didn't PM him, that's his signature that appears at the bottom of all his posts. You can download the latest ImgBurn here -> http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download (click on one of the 7 available mirror links)
  8. A mp3 disc is just a data disc, and the functions you're looking could be in the player's side. Have you read its manual to check if it can't do those? If it can't then you'll need to add the silent tracks yourself, or edit the mp3s themselves to add silence at the end of them. As for sorting, the files are sorted alphabetically in the filesystem (this can't be changed due to compatibility) so you'll have to rename the tracks adding 000-filename.mp3/001-filename.mp3/etc yourself so that they play in the order you want (try the Advanced Input mode).
  9. Try reading that disc with your other drive, or maybe using another computer.

  11. Please copy everything that's in the Log window.
  12. Try burning your ISO image with ImgBurn and then we'll be able to help if you have a problem.
  13. ImgBurn automatically booktypes DVD+R DL media to DVD-ROM on Samsung drives, and, on top of that, the drive should automatically booktype to DVD-ROM by itself. In the 'Change BookType' dialog, select 'Samsung', then 'Change (For DVD+R DL Media)', then select 'DVD-ROM' and click the button 'Change'. Is it successful or not? Also, where are you seeing that the burned disc wasn't booktyped? With ImgBurn in Write mode and that disc in the drive, can you copy and paste here the media information text shown inside ImgBurn's window? By the way, you should install the latest ImgBurn.
  14. Yes, but you also had 3 failed burns after that, and 50% success ratio with the best DVD+R DL media on the market is too low, which means your burner doesn't support it very well.
  15. Seems like your burner doesn't like those Verbatim 8x DVD+R DL discs. Try burning at 4x, or maybe cleaning the burner with a lens cleaning disc, but the best option would be using another burner, preferably a non-slim burner. Alternatively, you could try and find Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL media (MKM-001-00) but they're hard to find.
  16. Please post the log from that burn, or if you don't have it anymore, the log of the last burn you did (you can find previous logs in ImgBurn's Help menu).

  18. In older drives it's usually a mechanical fault due to worn off parts that isn't worth fixing as it would probably cost more than new a burner and you'd still have an old burner that doesn't support most of the media of the current market.
  19. That burner is old and probably developed a fault, which is why it doesn't even read burned discs. You should consider buying a new burner: not only they're cheap but they'll also burn your DVDs faster.
  20. Try burning at 4x, 6x or 8x.
  21. It means the ISO image will be burned up to the disc's capacity, and the excess data beyond the disc's capacity is ignored.
