    Adding image to used DVD

What you want is called multi-session burning, i.e. adding more files to a burned, open disc. ImgBurn doesn't support adding files to that. Windows XP and newer versions should be able to do that with their built-in features.
  2. Are you sure those are all blank discs? Because the one you posted the information even shows it was burned using a LG GS30N slimline laptop burner.

    Windows 7 Update issue

Also might be worth checking that Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) is enabled (the default is Manual trigger if I recall correctly).
  4. Booktyping DVD+R DL media to DVD-ROM is automatic for most burners (Optiarc included) and, as you can see... ... your burned disc was correctly booktyped to DVD-ROM, so you did nothing wrong.
  5. Please post the burn log from using the HP burner.

    Dual Layer breaks not available

Go to Tools -> Settings, click Restore Defaults and answer Yes (if you absolutely need to use custom settings then click No) and click OK. This should restore the default path of the preview feature, so you can then choose the best layer break for your project.

error when trying to burn cd

You'll need to remove some files from your compilation or burn it to a DVD instead, since not even 90min CD-Rs would hold that much data.
  8. You should be looking at the supported write speeds shown in the Media Information text to the right of ImgBurn's window, as those are the supported speeds by your burner/firmware/media combination. //edit read further down

    I/O error

The latest firmware for that drive is over 7 years old, I think it doesn't support the media available on today's market, or the drive is just worn out. The best option would be to get a new burner. On another (unrelated) note you should install SP3.

    I/O error at verification

You don't have to change any of ImgBurn's settings.

    Is Img Burn digitally signed

It is not. If you want to check the integrity of the installer you can compare with the hashes provided in the download page.

    I/O error on burning

Yes, you should try with Verbatim DVD+R DL blanks -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000

Bad Read Sectors When Creating ISO

Sounds like copy protection, and ImgBurn can't bypass that.

    Backup not burning properly

You may have a bad batch of discs or your burner may be dirty/worn out. You could still try burning at 6x and 8x and try cleaning the burner with a lens cleaning disc. If none of that works then I'd get a new burner.

    will not burn!

You have a bad/loose data cable connected to your burner, or possibly a weak power supply.

    Blu Ray Burning

ImgBurn doesn't edit/split anything. You'll have to use a BluRay authoring software for that.

Create a image file from disc error!

Most likely it's due to copy protection. On anoter note, there's newer firmware for your burner.

Imported Verbatim BDR-DL Media, the way to go?

Verbatim is MKM (Mtsubishi Kagaku Media) in that list.
  20. You could also try updating your burner's firmware (remove any disc from the drive and close the tray before updating then reboot the computer after it's finished updating).

    overburn errors on dl

If you don't have an iHASx24 burner with the appropriate firmware then you should truncate, not overburn, and even then the game might not work (you'll have to search online to find this out). Also your drive supports the media you're using at 4x, 6x and 8x, so you might want to try burning at 6x or 8x if 4x isn't working anymore (you've selected 2x but since the burner doesn't support that media at that speed it automatically elects 4x as the burn speed). //edit I knew I forgot something!

    Backup not burning properly

Update your burner's firmware and try burning at 4x, 6x or 8x to see if you get a better burn.

Difficulty burning DVD-R on DVD-RAM burner

There's no settings to be changed for that - when burning disc images they're burned as-is, no modifications are performed. Please post the log of that burn.
  25. Depending on your Windows 7 version you can install Windows XP Mode and do the integration inside of it.
