    ADIP Display Bug

Thanks for the email address info. I changed it. Okay, I see. I just noticed that that DVDInfoPro doesn't display the read speed for each descriptor, just the rated speed for the disc. Since it's a slim/laptop Blu-ray writer, the maximum read speed on it is only 8x. My TSSTcorp BDDVDW SE-506AB correctly shows that as the read speed in all descriptors. I just thought that instead of displaying an invalid speed, ImgBurn would display the maximum read speed for that type of media on the writer. But, I'm guessing that info isn't returned with the capabilities info, so would require a list or database.

    ADIP Display Bug

I found a bug the ImgBurn 2.5.8.0 ADIP display of 16x DVD+R discs on a MATSHITA BD-MLT UJ260. I tried two different brands of 16x DVD+R discs and it displays the same bug. The read speed for the descriptor entries display a read speed of 4,294,967,040 KB/s (3101059.2x). Also, the Maximum Read Rate says Not Specified instead of 16x. Both of these things display properly in DVDInfoPro Elite 7.2.0.0. 3. This seems to only happen with 2.5.6 when burning to DVD+R DL on Samsung SE-506AB. When I go back to 2.5.5, I have no problems with burning DL discs. Any thoughts or have you seen this before? Session Fixation Error Writing Lead Out

Okay, but could it have something to do with 2.5.6 not being compatible with the Samsung SE-506AB? Single layer DVDs and Blu-rays burn fine. Could it have something to do with the layer break not being calculated correctly since the disc runs out of space when writing the leadout?

    Formatted but empty DVD-RAM error

Lightning_UK, you're welcome. I'm just glad you were able to reproduce the problem. What was changed by using the disc in the DVD recorder or with DVD-MovieAlbum? dontasciime, here is an image if you want to try it, formatted to 4.26, which is the preferred format, instead of the maximum format. Formatted but empty DVD-RAM error

Here's a full IMG file of a problem disc created with B's Recorder Gold. I've tried the disc on 3 computers with the same result, 2 are using Windows XP Pro and 1 Windows MCE 2005, Microsoft SPTI and Panasonic DVD-RAM Driver 6.0.2.0. MEI_UDF.rar

The reason you can't access or delete the DVD_RTAV folder is probably because you are using InCD. If you use Panasonic's DVD-RAM Driver or B's Clip you should be able to delete the folder. Unlocker won't work because the files aren't locked, it's actually the permissions that are set in some way that InCD won't allow access. Sorry, I don't know why you couldn't download the ISO. I had no problem downloading and extracting the file myself.

    Formatted but empty DVD-RAM error

I told my brother about this bug and the numeric keypad one and because he had used the program extensively, I asked him to post them. Since he doesn't use DVD-RAM, he couldn't verify this one. After testing almost every possible scenario, I've found which things will produce a disc format which causes ImgBurn to crash. I mostly use DVD-RAM discs in my Panasonic DVD Recorders, so this is probably why you couldn't reproduce the problems I was having. If you only use DVDForm or InCD and Windows to write to the disc, ImgBurn will work properly. The problem becomes apparent when you use the disc in a Panasonic DMR-E50 DVD Recorder or edit the disc on your computer with Panasonic's DVD-MovieAlbumSE 3.0, delete the DVD_RTAV folder and then use ImgBurn in the Read mode. In some cases, even if you copy a few small files back onto the disc, ImgBurn will still crash. The reason I tried to read a blank disc is because UDF2.0 implementations vary by manufacturer and I wanted to restore the original format by writing a backup ISO onto a disc that I had to reformat with DVDForm. Since you don't need to copy the entire disc to backup a UDF formatted disc, I have attached the ISO of a disc formatted in my Panasonic DVD Recorder. If you write it to a DVD-RAM(it may need to have been previously formatted) and then delete the DVD_RTAV folder, you should see the same problem I am having. I have also attached an ImgBurn log with with F6 and F8 debug modes turned on. Hopefully these things will help in finding the problem. DVD_VIDEO_RECORDER.rar ImgBurn.log
