Wasn't sure how to do that until you kindly instructed me how to in your last response.....Here is what you asked for originally..You are right, when I go into My Computer, it's like my cd/dvd-rom device has totally disappeared...Called Dell, since it's a Dell XPS 200 Desktop and they have advised me to back everything like photos and music and docs up and do a system restore which would wipe all of that stuff out, but reconnect my device...seems awful drastic to me....Can you offer a suggestion? I think you are probably right about the filter..what would I do to fix this? When I look at the filters in ImgBurn, it shows CD/DVD ROM device and then about of N/A's next to version information. I don't know how this happened or why...I burnt a disc successfully last night before I went to bed...can you give me some insight on how to fix this? I am pretty new at dealing with problems like these.. Thanks in advance!
