Cannot Write Medium - Incompatible Format

Hello everyone and thank you for developing such a useful tool!

 

So, my situation is; I'm trying to burn an .iso file to a DVD to play in my PS2. First time using the program, so I know next to nothing. I choose everything, insert the DVD (TDK DVD-R 1-16x) and when I press the button to start I get this:

 

I/O Error!

Incompatible Format

That media code (Disc ID: MBI 01RG40) is not supported by the firmware for the burner. Try with another brand/media code such as Verbatims.

i tried to use verbatims and i got the same error . do my computer has to be on windows xp

Start your own thread and also post the log of that burn (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
