Topic says it all.

I have tried to burn a DVD DL and regular single layer DVD also. Both stop at Writing LeadIn...

Theres nothing wrong with the discs or disc burner since I just burned a DVD DL and DVD on ImgBurn using Windows XP after ImgBurn on Windows 7 did not work.

Maybe its a simple fix, I am not sure.

Thanks in advance.

Look for updated drivers for your motherboard's chipset and/or IDE controller (use SIW if you don't know their brand/model).

By the way...

I 19:03:01 Destination Device: [1:0:0] HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GSA-H55N 1.03 (G:) (ATA)

There's newer firmware available for your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) but use your WinXP if you're going to update.

I updated the DVD driver to 1.05 FW, and still have the problem.

Also I have an ASUS P5P800 motherboard. I looked for chipset drivers, and they didnt have any.

Do you have any other suggestions?
