Do you have the option "Lock Volume - exclusive access" ticked ?

lockvolume4hj.th.jpg

At a guess, DivXtoDVD is either trying to access to the drive, or possibly accessing the last file it was working on - the one now being burnt by ImgBurn ???

Yes

i don't have any job in divxtodvd, simply open and close during a burning process.

Are you using the patin-couffin I/O manager?

If it really does happen the second you close the app, I can only guess divxtodvd is doing something weird with the drives that interrupts the burn process in a way that the burner can't recover from.

I use default (SPTI)

could it not be that the imapi task is being opened/ closed by vso software on start /exit of their software.

dunno what their software is like or even if it is an imapi complient CD burning package.

possibly try this right click on your dvd writer and untick Enable CD recording on this drive.

could be a device driver conflict as well which can be tricky to track down..

just some thoughts.
