BDMV IBB File

I was hoping to make a movie only backup with menus, and created the following IBB

IBB

[sTART_BACKUP_LIST]

S:\BDMV\index.bdmv

S:\BDMV\MovieObject.bdmv

S:\BDMV\AUXDATA

S:\BDMV\BACKUP

S:\BDMV\BDJO

S:\BDMV\JAR

S:\BDMV\META

S:\BDMV\PLAYLIST\00004.mpls

S:\BDMV\STREAM\00017.M2TS

S:\BDMV\CLIPINF\00017.clpi

S:\BDMV\PLAYLIST\00007.mpls

S:\BDMV\CLIPINF\00011.clpi

S:\BDMV\PLAYLIST\00017.mpls

S:\BDMV\STREAM\00022.M2TS

S:\BDMV\CLIPINF\00022.clpi

[END_BACKUP_LIST]

However ImgBurn didn't create the BDMV I thought it would. The index.bdmv & MovieObject.bdmv got added to a BDMV_ folder and the mpls, clpi & m2ts got added to the BDMV folder without preserving full pathnames.

Can ImgBurn actually do what I want? If so how can this be acheived.

Many thanks. Mike.

ImgBurn created the IBB (I removed the options only in my posting). Here's the full file:

I'm not sure where BDMV_ comes into anything - I don't see it listed in the 'Source'.

Anyway, it looks like you're using Standard input mode yeah?

You have to think of the 'Source' box as the root of the disc.

So if you add a file to it, that file ends up in the root.

If you add a folder to it then the folder ends up in the root. Any subfolder (and their files) of that folder end up within that folder - assuming 'recurse subdirectories' is enabled.

If what's on your S: drive is all present and correct, why couldn't you just add S:\ to the source box? That way, everything in and below it would get added in the correct places. Likewise, if you'd enabled 'Preserve full pathnames' in the options (with your source selection exactly as-is) then it would have done the same. Of course that only works because your files/folders are already in the root of a drive.

To get a better idea of what you're doing and what the resulting disc will look like, use Advanced input mode.

The log file says

W 19:54:43 UDF Directory: '\BDMV\\' -> 'BDMV_' (OS Path: S:\CERTIFICATE\)

W 19:54:43 UDF File System: 1 folder/file name has been modified due to your current settings.

All the files are present and correct on the S:\ drive (which is an optical drive). I can't select S:\ as source, as there is alot of stuff there I don't need - unless it's possible to have S:\ as the input and the list exclusions of stuff I don't want.

Changing to Advanced mode does what I need. Thanks!

Ah ok, BDMV_ makes sense now :)

I'm not sure if you can just miss files out like you're doing can you?!

Surely it'll go looking for one at some point and then just fall over.

I think you should be removing the stuff you don't want/reauthoring it with something like BD Rebuilder or ClownBD.
