Logical Unit Software Write Protected

Hi I just started getting this comeup E 21:43:40 Failed to Erase Disc! - Reason: Logical Unit Software Write Protected

when I try to erase a dvd,No fault of imgburn I would think as I have just installed adobe premiere elements and updated my nvideo drivers .Which I think may be the culprit .Any solution to overcome this problem please. This is a home made video burnt with imgburn

Same result and same message.It will read and write seems to just be the erase

Just tried to erase with Magix and got cant finalise disc may be being used by other drive

Do you have any packet writing software installed?

 

Can you erase if you try in safe mode?

 

Do you have any other (different dye) rewritable DVDs you can try?

Hi it looks as if it is just the 2 discs I burned as avchd that wont erase subsequent ones burned as standard dvd are ok .Not sure if Magix has some sort of file lock still trying to find out .At least as I thought it isn't imgburn nor the actual disc brand .Thanks both for all your help
