Hello, I just recently updated to the current version of ImgBurn and now when I burn DVDs from the folders I have on my computer from DVD Shrink, I put the finished DVD into my player and the DVD player states: NO AUDIO DATA and NO IMAGE DATA. I have been following the guides on the ImgBurn website on burning files/folders on a DVD, but i am not having any success. I never had any of these problems with the previous version of ImgBurn, and i don't know what to do next. Please help! Thanks.

I 01:39:33 Contents: 22 Files, 1 Folder

I 01:39:33 Content Type: Data

Your source files aren't in DVD-Video, which is the format that any DVD player can play. If you changed DVD Shrink's settings then you know where to start looking for the problem.

i only changed the file system to ISO9660 + UDF because the guide on the website states to do so. It was set to ISO9660 + Joliet after i updated to the latest version of ImgBurn.

some extra info, before i updated to the latest version, i would burn a disc and then when the burn was finished, the movie would play automatically as soon as soon as the "operation successfully completed" pop-up was shown. now, all it does is show me a bunch of video files.

do you think having VLC Media Player on my computer has anything to do with this? Some of the video files are labeled as VLC media files (.vob)

please reply, thank you for all of the info mmalves. much appreciated.

In My Computer/Windows Explorer, right-click on your burner's drive letter, go to Properties then AutoPlay tab: in there you can set what Windows should do when each type of disc is detected.

As for VLC, in order to correctly play a DVD you should use the File -> Open Disc feature.
