If it worked before (with same discs) and now suddenly doesn't. I would

a) try with a lens cleaning disc for the burner
b ) replace the burner
c) also tried the 4x write speed

The funny thing:
With these files it will always on the same position...
Normal/direct Burning: W 12:35:11 Failed to Write Sectors 180800 - 180831 - Reason: No Seek Complete
Then i create a iso with these files without problems. I burned the iso file and then: W 13:36:25 Failed to Write Sectors 180800 - 180831 - Reason: No Seek Complete
I tried other files: W 13:27:13 Failed to Write Sectors 180928 - 180959 - Reason: No Seek Complete

I tried before many times other files and these are also breaks on nearly the same position. I tried other burning programs and they also breaks in these area. But today the first disc i burned succesfully was the disc i can't burn yesterday...

I started a new set of DVDs, normaly they should work they are Verbatims
I will try another disc tomorow
Unfortunatly it is not so easy to change the drive on my laptop, i have to send them to Dell (again)...

Now i tried a Video DVD without any problems...

The other discs that not working are Data DVDs with ~25avi files. Can this cause the problem?

Now i renamed in one of the problem disc each filename and it seems to work at Sector ~180.000
Later the speed drops down (Sector ~400.000) but it don't stop to burn...
Can this be the solution?
And why it is only during "real burning" and not during creation of iso file?

IMHO it's just random "works sometimes" that you experience. Could be that the discs are of various quality or the burner just sometimes decides to not do a good job.
