dave2011
I have just recently used imgburn to make iso image files on my hard drive. I noticed upon completion I have the ISO file and then beside it a MDS file. What is the MDS file and do I need to keep it in order for the file to work correctly? Thanks for your assistance
LIGHTNING UK!
Depending on the size of the image, its usefulness varies. If it's a double layer image, the MDS contains the location of the layer break. If it's an image that's been subject to file splitting, it tells the program how to reconstruct the image from the numerous file parts. If it's a
dave2011
I thank you for your assistance. The files are image files of program dvd's so that I don't have to continue to swap dvd's in and out of the drives. I guess to be safe I will leave them alone. Thanks Again Dave2011
