Just wanted to report this bug. I made an image of 2 session DVD+DL. It seems the image contains session 1 and 2, whereas session 2 usually includes session 1, so session 1 is double.

At least it explains the huge image. The log excerpt below states that session 2 is read from the beginning of the disc.

Apart from that, I suggest the READ function should let the user select the session(s) to include in the image OR let the user make an ISO which contains the data as it is shown in Windows: merged. This would not be an 1:1 image, but at least of almost the same size as the disc.

As it happens, I've already fixed this issue ready for the next release. (* but you'll never really see it)

I generally don't mess around with multisession/track (non CD) discs so this problem had gone un-noticed for quite a while.

As Read mode can't really be used on multisession/track DVD/HD DVD/BD discs (there's no way to burn them), it has been now blocked from doing so and I've added a prompt suggesting the user should create a new clean (single session/track) image using Build mode.

I believe that almost ties in with your suggestion about making an ISO which contains the data as shown in Windows.
