I haven't seen any evidence of acceptable XGD3 backups from any Samsung burner. The Sony Optiarc 5280S-CB and Verbatim MIS will give you the most reliable results. That's been my experience anyway. The Liteon iHASx24 B, C and D revisions are also good, but sometimes require a little tweaking of settings and a few coasters depending on your system. Lightning UK has done extensive testing of both burners, BurnerMax Payload Tool, and the Verbatim media, which can be found in this forum.
