" Checking Read Speeds "

Hello all!

I'm using ImgBurn with a Nimbie 11 autoloader & anyDvd and it's working like a charm. The only issue I have is that at each disc change it spends a long time checking the read speed of the drive. At first i thought it was hanging, but when I lefit it alone after a few minutes it starts ripping to ISO w/out a problem. There are no errors in the log, and no other indications of somethign wrong. The ISO files are perfect. The only other time it acts like this is when I start a batch and it sits on waiting for the drive to be ready , which again takes some time but eventually it takes off.

Is there a way for it to remember the drive speed so that it does not have to recheck every disc?

There isn't, no.

That process should only take a fraction of a second or so.

It would be useful if you could capture the I/O debug info of the bit that's taking a while so I can check the drive's responses.

You can capture I/O debug info in the log by pressing the F8 key before making the drive do what it's taking a while to do.
