I had 5 failed burns with a bluray (I burn home authored blurays regularly) so I tried a different, known to be working bluray folder, same error.. I then bought some new discs with hope this would definitely fix the issue but they arrived this morning and... same error! I'm now wondering if my LG HL-DT-ST BD-RE GGW-H20L YL05 is faulty... Posted September 29, 2014 Share Posted September 29, 2014 You may benefit from updating the firmware on the drive. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GGW-H20L/files.html It may fix the issue you're having when trying to burn 'CMCMAG-BA5-000' media. (Error data = 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 )" I suspect the drive has had it. It's done me well.. tikigod19 Posted September 30, 2014 Author Share Posted September 30, 2014 my BH16NS40 seems to be working so far.. the only thing is it says it can't write at 2x and must write at a minimum of 4x..
