ImgBurn FLAC...no sound on CD

Hi - I am using ImgBurn to burn a single FLAC file using a CUE file. BTW, I'm using WinXP SP3 and ImgBurn 2.5.5.0. I was told that ImgBurn can split the single FLAC file into individual tracks and also retain tag information. On my first attempt, ImgBurn gave an error saying that there were missing filters of some sort. I googled the error and read that ImgBurn needed DirectShow filters that work with FLAC. So, I downloaded and installed opencodecs_0.85.17777.exe from Xlph.Org. Once installed, Img'burn seemed to work properly. I verified the disc and there were no problems shown in the log file.

However, upon playing the disc, there is no sound! ImgBurn did in fact create the individual tracks and retain the tag information, which is awesome but there is no audio. I put in a commercial audio cd to make sure that the filters I installed didn't mess up my system and it played just fine.

Please help me correct my method of burning the cd so that it will play properly.

I have attached the log file.....TIA.

So it's not even playing ok on the pc?

ImgBurn detects filters decoding as digital silence, so maybe something else is causing it (and it isn't actual silence).

Open the 'Create CUE' feature via the tools menu and add your Flac file. Then right click it and show the directshow filter list. Let me know what it says please.

I wasn't able to create a cue file. After alalyzing the flac file, ImgBurn jumped to 51% or 53% (different flac) complete and then stopped (see attached gif). I left it several minutes but it never progressed.

Before trying ImgBurn, I used Burrrn 1.14 to burn the cue file and split tracks. On my first test, it split tracks and played fine. The only issue was that it did not retain cd text info, or so I thought. I just did another test with Burrrn and it worked perfectly, including track info (cd text). I also tried it in my car player and it displayed all of the track info. So that's all I need. The only reason I tried ImgBurn on this project (I've used it before for DL DVD with good results), was to try to retain the cd text.

Thanks for your help, but I guess I don't need to pursue ImgBurn. There's just some odd conflict with my system I guess.

That isn't a progress bar, it's showing you how much of the disc you've used up.

All you need to do (from the point shown in your picture) is right click the item in the list and display the filter list.

If you don't mind, please still do that for me as I'm curious as to what's messing things up for you.

Ok well your directshow filter list / graph is as clear as can be, so I've no idea why you're having the problem you are.

There are other things I could ask you to do in order to get to the bottom of it, but as you already have a working solution, you might as well just stick with that.
