MP3 CD issues

Greetings.

Recently I've stumbled upon an issue with Imgburn. I was trying to make a MP3 CD so I can play it in my car.

The CD which I was using to burn is "Maxell CD-R 80MIN 700MB 52x" (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/50-Maxell-CD-R-80MIN-700MB-52x-Compact-Disc-Recordable-/300585747603 - this type of CD)

I've used the Build option to burn the files, because it always worked before with ISO9660 + Joliet option at 2x speed.

What's bothering me is that I've recently burned another CD (using the same Maxell type CD) with music which is around 555MB and has 4-5 hours of music with no problem.

When I've tried to burn another CD which has around 3-4 hours of music (420MB size file) with same settings I've received this error:

Any help would be appreciated.

Your drive is producing an unreadable disc. It's nothing to do with what you're burning or how much you're burning, it's just one of those things with the drive/firmware/media combo you're using.

Try installing the latest firmware and give it another go.

If it still doesn't work, try different 'supported' write speeds (notice 2x isn't even an option so it's using 16x) and try different discs.

Many thanks for a rather fast reply, even though I didn't reply back in time (I had some work to do). I've updated to latest firmware, restarted the PC and gave the burning another go. It worked perfectly.

Maybe it's just me, but I have a feeling that the "Verify" option was causing the issue, because when I burn stuff I always tick the option "Verify" before burning.

Anyways, thanks again for the support.
