On this machine today I launched Imgburn and get this error: -------------------------------------------ImgBurn-------------------------------------------X I/O Error!Device: [1:3:0] TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552L 0614 (F:)(ATA)CDB: 12 00 00 00 60 00Interpretation: InquiryReason: Invalid access to memory location [Retry] [Cancel] ------------------------------------------- The PC is kind of old, is running WinXP. My SATA DVD/CD drive doesn't work on its SATA controller, so I'm using an IDE optical drive. I don't have issues with it, in general. Seems to work OK with other programs. I don't know if this issue is related to the optical drive. The machine is running AVG free AV. I temporarily disabled AVG and the error happened as usual upon launch of Imgburn. LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 17, 2016 Share Posted July 17, 2016 Boot into safe mode and see if the same thing happens. If it does, come back on the forum and get the error up on the screen. Either screenshot and upload it for me please or press CTRL+C to copy it to the clipboard and then CTRL+V to paste it into your reply. It's important I have it *exactly* as displayed. Muse Posted July 18, 2016 Author Share Posted July 18, 2016 (edited) This morning Imgburn sees the optical drive after a restart. I don't normally reboot the machine often, but had to yesterday because my HDTV session had a lockup, completely locked up machine, unresponsive. So, I started the machine from scratch.
