Rusty4683 Posted March 12, 2017 Share Posted March 12, 2017 Last time I needed help my blu ray back ups would play but then freeze and either audio or picture would continue (one without the other) or it would freeze as if a brand new discussion had a scratch. I used Img burn to create the isos and know they are without flaw. Before it was suggested my older LG burner was at fault so I'm back with the same issues and a brand new pioneer burner. It seems like everything burns okay up until verify gets to 50 percent and then it's just read error after read error. Right now I'm verifying a burn at 56% with 183 errors. Are there settings I need to change to burn blu rays from isos without flaw (I've all ready limited the speed)... Or is it because my Ridata blu rays are garbage (I've seen many negative things about their product after buying them of course). Any help is appreciated and if it is my media is verbatim fairly trustworthy? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 12, 2017 Share Posted March 12, 2017 Please post the log - as per the pink box up the top. You don't need to change any settings, the default work just fine. If your drive is producing bad burns, it'll probably be due to the media you're using... but other things like firmware and write speed can also come into it. You should be able to copy and paste everything up until where it starts hitting all the read errors. Failing that, attach the actual log file itself. LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 13, 2017 Share Posted March 13, 2017 Nope, that's perfect. There's no difference between using Build mode or Write mode. If one succeeds or fails, the other should do too. It looks like your drive is doing a bad job of burning the 2nd layer and it's producing an unreadable disc. Your drive's firmware is up-to-date and you aren't trying to burn too quickly, so try something other than 'RITEK-DR3-000' media. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dbminter Posted March 13, 2017 Share Posted March 13, 2017 Yeah, if a double layer media is going to fail, it will generally fail somewhere around the layer change as happened here. Try VERBATIM Disc ID media. Your drive, probably, just doesn't like RITEK media. Besides, even if it burned correctly, you might have had playback issues with RITEK BD-R in Blu-Ray players.
