This is really weird and Im sure its simple but I have Imgburn on all my computers and never had this problem.

I just reformatted a friends computer and installed Imgburn on the computer and it installs but when I close it out, it is no longer saved as a program. It's not in program files and a search only shows it in the download folder so I have to install again. I dont have any viruses or malware on the computer and I installed Avast but its not saying its blocking anything from installing. Does it have anything to do with the fact that I am opting out of installing AVG toolbar, skype etc?

Once you've installed it, do you actually see imgburn.exe in the 'Program Files (x86)\ImgBurn' folder? See if you can monitor it and figure out when it's being deleted exactly.

There's no reason for anything to delete it... and it certainly doesn't delete itself due to you opting out of the 3rd party software offers during installation - they are and have always been 100% optional.
Please don't PM me with questions that should be posted in the forum. I won't reply - Especially if you have post count of 0!!!
