failed to verify at 49% when burning xbox 360 games

Hi, I'm having issues when burning Xbox 360 games. I get a good burn but it always fails to verify at 49%. I've tried everything I can think of to get it to work right including changing the write speed, turning opc on, updated drivers, and I'm using good media (Verbatim).

I've also tried on two different burners with same results. I'll post the logs for both burners and hopefully, someone here can point me in the right direction. Thanks.

If you aren't using MKM-003-00 discs, don't even bother trying.

Also, your drives probably can't overburn properly. Lots of drives appear to support the 'payload' but very few can produce working discs. A successful write operation (burn) doesn't really mean anything if the disc is unreadable - and that's where the verify phase comes in.

So... get yourself a drive that's known to work (most LiteOn ones do - just don't get a slimline one) and get some Verbatim MKM-003-00 mid discs.

UMEDISC-DL1-64 are from Verbatim's Life Series.  Life Series are usually CMC Magnetics, so I wouldn't be surprised if UME DVD DL discs are CMC.  CMC Magnetics is the bottom of the barrel manufacturer, and Verbatim does tarnish its good name by farming out to CMC for its Life Series discs I've seen in brick and mortar stores.  Ether way, I'm sure, since they're Life Series, they're cheap media, probably CMC, and this is probably causing your problem.  Your error appears to be right at the layer change, where most failures will occur on DL media, especially with cheap media.

As LUK said, get the MKM DVD DL discs.  They're the best.  But, you usually can't find them in brick and mortar stores.  You have to look online for DataLife Plus (NOT Life Series.) media.
