Hello,

I have found some vhs tape I would like to convert to dvd. I acquired the Golden video software but for some reason when I go to burn it, the audio is not captured. The video captures fine but no audio. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I only have the red, yellow and white cables but am wondering if I need the s-video cable since I’m using a vhs and dvd combo. Please advise. Thank you in advance.

Mike

Svideo will only do the same job your yellow cable is doing.

What format does it capture in? Can you play the resulting file on the pc itself?

As this is the ImgBurn forum, you'd be better off asking your more generic a/v questions over at somewhere like www.videohelp.com
Please don't PM me with questions that should be posted in the forum. I won't reply - Especially if you have post count of 0!!!

Replies to posts belong in the forum where everyone can read them. Please don't PM them.

In fact, don't PM me at all unless it's something I've asked to be told about!

Before asking questions, search the forum to see if someone else already has.

Use the FAQ and Guides forums to your advantage. I don't want to have to tell you to read them!

It captures it in mp4 and avi format. I’m able to play it but there is no sound. I wonder if it could be the capture usb device.
