BD-R burning error: Failed to Write Sectors 0 - 31 - Reason: No Additional Sense Information

Please help. I wasted a lot of time and tried to burning my first BD-R disc. No luck. Following is log message.

Right click the drive selection box and pick 'family tree'.

 

Close the prompt that comes up and then copy and paste everything from the log window please.

Thanks for your reply. I have fixed the issue. My old DVD player connected to SATA 3GB/s port. I need to connect this new burner to 6GB/s port. I have burned bluray BD-R disc successfully.

The speed of the port isn't important but the controller it's connected to can make a big difference.

 

As yours would blocking the actual error (hence 'no additional sense info'), it must have been on one that it wasn't really compatible with.

 

The 'Family Tree' info I asked for would have told me which one it was on.
