Those with failed burns.

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I had some failed burns. This might sound like nonsense but.. I have seen bad iso files. To correct this problem, I extract the .iso then recreate a new .iso with Imgburn, then burn the disc with Imgburn. The burn is a success. I don't know if this will help anyone else but worth knowing i think.

That absolutely shouldn't be possible... to have a bad ISO I mean... to the point where the drive fails to burn it.

Data is just data, the drive doesn't know or care, it's just 1's and 0's.

I know it sounds absurd but I’m telling you it happens. I even sacrificed a couple discs to test the theory..
