Tiger
Hi I use ImgBurn in build Mode to make the ISO of the Video_TS and Audio_TS folders. After that I burn them as Video DVDs. Now how can I set the region code to ALL of this DVDs using ImgBurn? I think this is the way to make the DVDs region Free. Please advise. thank you. LIGHTNING UK!
No, this is not something ImgBurn does.
lfcrule1972
I think maybe Corny misunderstood the question, we all know that ImgBurn builds and burns and does not rip !
Tiger
So could some one please tell me how exactly can I make my DVDs region free? Thank you.
spinningwheel
DVD's are set to regions by the manufacturers. We do not advise on how to do ANYTHING related to ripping, and, as changing the region code deals with a subject that we do not discuss here, you would be better off doing a Google search for what you want to know. If you have a problem with using IB then please post about it.
Tiger
Well I am not ripping any DVDs, rather I am burning my Video Files using ImgBurn. So my question is how should I make my DVDs region Free while burning with IB? Thank you.
Kenadjian
You don't, they are region free as they are.
Tiger
Thank you for your reply So blank DVDs are by default region free- right?
zacoz
It's not the physical DVD which has the region coding, rather it's the DVD files themselves. Any software you would be using to author your DVD's will not apply any region coding to the files, so you don't have to worry.
LIGHTNING UK!
Actually the files and the dvds can be region coded. Blank discs do not have a region code associated with them.
Tiger
Thank you very much everyone. BTW, FYI, I use ConvertXToDVD to author DVD files. I'll check with that SW too regarding this matter.
zacoz
Actually the files and the dvds can be region coded. Blank discs do not have a region code associated with them. I stand corrected by the master (again).
