jbumgar
Does imgburn make 1 to 1 copies like Alcohol?
blutach
It can of unencrypted DVDs. Just use read mode followed by write mode (note if the source of DVD-9 size, you'll need a DL disk to write to). Regards
LIGHTNING UK!
For DVDs, yes. For CDs that would required 'RAW' mode, no. When burning CD's the program uses SAO and works with the user data areas, not the subchannel / leadin / leadout ones. So it all depends on what you're really asking about! For normal data discs, yeah it's pretty much 1:1. If you've got anything with protection on it, no it's not 1:1.
jbumgar
Well I was wondering about DVDs so I guess I'm ok. The disk I'm wanting to backup is protected by a serial number so I should be ok?
