mack178
hi, i'm new to imgburn (actually to dvd burning in general) so if i happen to sound ignorant, please just bear with me. i tried writing a dvd with imgburn, and after burning a DVD image (the finalising of which took more than an hour.. is that normal?) i tried testing it. it worked in the drive that i had used to burn the disc, but when i tried it in my other dvd drive it didn't even recognize that there was a disc in there. the disc is a DVD+R DL, with which both of my drives are compatible, although only one drive is a DVD writer. the other's just a reader. is there some crucial step i'm missing? what am i doing wrong?? LIGHTNING UK!
The only crucial step is that you use Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL discs. No, it's not normal for the finalisation step to take that long. It's normally a couple of minutes tops.
